How to Earn Money from Infibeam ?

Infibeam is yet another popular Indian e-Commerce site like Flipkart which specializes in selling books primarily. Besides books it is a retailer for electronic equipments too. Infibeam also offers an affiliate program so that you can earn money by selling their products. If you have read my previous post: How to Earn Money from Flipkart ? you would know what Affiliate Program is. Lets get started by signing up.

It has decent commission rates giving away 5% for Books, Apparel and Lifestyle which is good as people in India have started to buy clothes and apparels online. You canearn money from Infibeam by promoting books mainly as the books on Infibeam are sometimes cheaper than Flipkart.

How it Works ?

Infibeam affiliate program works the same way as flipkart affiliate i.e you need to refer visitors to Infibeam who buy the products there which gains you some percentage of commission as per the category of the product.

After you log in to the Infibeam affiliate panel, you can view your unique ‘affiliate id’ which you have to add after adding ‘&trackId=’ at the end of the product link. Your affiliate link to promote a product for e.g would look like:

Infibeam offers many tools by which you can promote their products:

Custom Banner: You can search for the product you want to promote in the search bar and click on add to banner to create a custom banner to keep on your website. You can even choose to create a banner containing more than 1 product.
Hot Deals Widget: Infibeam has a section called Hot Deals where they handpick the hottest deal from all their stores. This widget provides who with the code to show a the Hottest Deals in Infibeam on your website and can show up to 3 products at max as shown in the screenshot below. This widget converts really well

Magic Box Widget: Similar to Hot Deals, Infibeam has a section of Magic Box where they showcase 2 products everday with discounted prices. It shows a dynamic banner of this products.
Infibeam Search Box: It provides who with a code that you can place in your website to show a search box which would search the product the user enters and redirect to Infibeam site.
Campaign Banners: It lets you pick and display the latest offers from Infibeam in all banner sizes.

Cheque: You can request a cheque issue after you reach min. limit of 2000 Rs.
NEFT: The money is directly deposited in your bank account, for that you need to download and fill NEFT form available in your affiliate account. [Min. Threshold 2000 Rs.]

How it Works ?

After you sign up and confirm their mail log in to your flipkart affiliate account. You will be able to see your unique Affiliate ID also known as Tracking ID which is used for tracking that the user has come to the site through your link. Don’t forget to fill and re-check your Payment details.

You will be able to see your Affiliate tools like the Banners, search bars if you want to promote it through your website. You can create your affiliate link for a particular product by just adding your affiliate id after adding ‘?affid=‘ at the end of any product url you want to promote. Then send this link to your friends who are interesting in buying that product.

As soon as any clicks on the link containing you affiliate id and buys the product, you gain commission.

Important Info:

The Sale is counted if the user buys within 24 hours after your affiliate link has been once visited.
You get paid for all the products the user buys after he visits flipkart from your affiliate link. It means that if any user opens flipkart through your link of Steve Jobs book and then he buys another 5 books, you get paid for all the books provided it is within 24 hours.

Flipkart pays its affiliate in 2 ways:

EFT: The money is directly deposited in your bank account once you reach Rs. 2500 [Min. Payment Threshold for EFT-Electronic Funds Transfer].
Gift Voucher: You can use the money to purchase a product on flipkart once you reach Rs. 250.

Few Tips:

Make a website on Book Reviews and promote books there.
Use URL shortening service like bit.ly to shorten your affiliate link.
Promote the products you buy on Facebook giving your review about the product.
